stupid question

i really like dazz_nova's car but i want to know a few things. im not very noledgeable when it comes to engines and things so don tlaugh at the questions.

1. what is a ecotec valve with a pipercross breather and are they good.

2. also what are solinoids. what do they do.

solenoids allow handels to be removed :- u push a button to open the doors\boot either on a key alarm fob or hidden buttons which only work when the alarm is de-activated

not really mate i think there suposed to be better on fuel ecconemy or summat but not 100% like its a little valve thats all :?

solenoids are central locking motors/boot popping motors. they are all the same (ish). They can be used for locking or opening or doors/boots etc

eco tec valves meant to be crap on carbed cars as it makes cylinders run lean.
was a post in technical about them a while ago
see if you can find that :)
