C20XE Sump removal???

All i need to know is, is it possible to remove the sump without removing the manifold? As you all probably know, when you've got a redtop in a nova, it would be a tw*t to get the manifold off. All i want to do when its off is replace the sump gasket. Cheers

pretty sure its a manifold-off job! just move the rad forward a little bit and that'll give you extra room to get the zorst manifold off.

The sump wont come off when the manifold is on.

If its a standard Astra GSi manifold with Nova GSi radiator there shouldn't be any problems getting the manifold off. If it still wont budge then try taking the studs out of the head.
