First of all! I am in the continent at the moment.
Now
I have been looking at some Nova's (I.e Corsa A on the continent) and I found something interestng.
I have seen couple 1.2 S Mk2 (Equivalent to 1.2 L in the UK i believe)
1.4, 1.3 and it seems that even 1.2 here comes with the rev counters inbuilt! :?: How come!? Why in the UK we dont apart from SRi and GTE!?

i noticed a hell of a lot of 1.2i's in germany. and they had less rot than anythin here. even with the germans using more salt on one road than they whole UK uses lol

maybe they got more rust prevention treatment at the factory, but all the nova?/corsa a's were manufactured in 1 factory in spain?! i think?!! probably better looked after...

Yeh whenever ive been abroad ive noticed that they all seem pretty mint, and another difference is that ones in europe dont have side repeators - makes it a bit easier for them when smoothing off their novas (or corsa's).

i think my car was from the continent because its got no ariel hole on the wing and its got opel badges slapped on it
the only thing to suggest that it isn't is the fact that its a right hooker not left

I think we should take it back to the manufacturer and ask for our money back! Or at least make them do free repair! :twisted: :lol: :lol:

the flair i saw in the scrappy didnt but it did have a wannabe SRi interior.
i.e white dial speedo (no rev counter), SRi seats but not bucket at the front. got the lot for a tenner :lol:

ive got a 1.2 flair. yes they are factory wannabe sri's

but they dont have rev counters

Thats realy strange, I was going to buy one from vauxhall about 8 year ago it was a 93(k) and it had a rev counter with the white clocks!
