My nova 1.2L is five gear, and the gears are fairly long in comparison to my 106. Bt wondered if anyone had a four speed nova and what the gear ratios are like.

Is the fifth gear in the 5 speed box an extra longer gear or is the four speed box geared so that each gear is longer

Cheers for any advices

ye as ste says if its an SR 5speed (close ratio) then 4th in 4SP = 5th in sr box

if its a 1.2 5 speed box (wide ratio) then its an extra longer gear and 1-4 are the same as the 4SP
