No Backbox??

Readin sum comments over the poll i created "the loudest backbox", and sum1 suggested removin the backbox. Sounds like a bad idea to me but if it makes my car louder then i want to do it, but wil it affect my emissions? will it damage my car in anyway? and will it pass the MOT with no backbox on it? :?

but i spose you might be able to get away with it if you intend to put a straight pipe at the back with a huge exit pipe, also hide is behind a big rear bumper to hide the fact you aint got a back box! :roll:

if ya want to look "legit" get a straight through pipe from the downpipe and put one of these on the end
