I GOT MY FIRST CAR AT LAST!!!!

I now have my first car, and it's a nova :P

My dad got it for me as he found it near him (I just need to pay him back). But he got me a saloon 1.2L nova :cry:

It's ok as a first car, but in a few months I will be changing it to a hatchback, as a mate of mine has loads of shit for it, i.e. Nova GSi bodykit, dash, 5 speed gearbox (which I think will fit) and a few aftermarket parts like exhaust, cam, and stuff for different novas.

So when I get it, and figure out how I can put it into the features thingie. You will be able to see it.

P.S. I havn't seen it either until this weekend, so here goes the crypton factor. And I got a quote for ?754 TPF&T, and when I do my pass plus it will be knocked down to ?610 from Adrian Flux, so I think I got a good deal. Hope to hear your replies, and tell me how I fcuked up somewhere :P

there aint nothing wrong with his car, id just leave the mods out, i think a standard Nova is a lovely little first car,

You can still get some decent hatchs on a K or L if ur lucky without a bit of rust on. Some Standard Novas look very tidy, just watch out for modded and thrashed ones when u go for ur hatch.

My cousin once had a saloon, and his really shifted it was a 1 litre, it was quicker than my 1.2

WOW!!!!! That must have been a twin turbo with NOS and go faster strips with a max power sticker. How fast did it go? 115mph

ill be keeping the body mods to a minimum, no kingdom werhey what the hell happened there bodykits, or 17" wheels. With the 1.2l which ill will be doing up when I get a 1.2L nova hatch (the saloon will not be touched) the biggest ill fit will be 15", and hopefully TSW Evo R's. Then after a year of nice driving, ill go upto a 1.4 or 1.6, or maybe a whole diff car, as ill be 21 by then.

lol. if i were you m8 id get the parts off ya mate and do up the 'loon because everything will fit exept the rear bumper. GSI kit it then lower it a bit with a mk2 saloon rear bumper and some nicw wheels. job sorted. ill try an dig out sum pics of a v. nice saloon i seen

gotta say my first car was a standard 1.2 nova - loved it to pieces but it was a short lived life for the poor thing - fecked chassis :(

second car is another nova tho :D just a 1 litre

the saloon looks nice, but im not really keen on the rear end. But mine will look better :P

And mine will be more colour coded, IE the skirts and that back panel, also mine's a 4dr saloon :P
