How to clean K&N filter!?

Guys i need to do mine, however have no idea how to! Can someone please tell me. My mate washed it in a dishwasher! :? Not sure its a good idea! Can you please help! :roll:

by a k and n filter cleaner product, it has all the things you will need, get it from motor factors, halfrauds, etc...

Yeah but you need to wash it some how first! And that is the question how!

Mate, buy a K&N cleaner kit and follow the instructions! it's all in there, and it's on the instructions that came with your filter too.
PS. your mates knob and he's fucked up his 50-odd quid filter :lol: :roll:

i usually give them a good blast with airline inside and out. Then re-oil
