Removing side repeaters

I'be just purchased some clear side repeaters with amber bulbs (the ones ticking out from the front wing) I have removed the existing amber shell but the bulb is solid to get out. Any hints or tips?

after taking off the yellow cover you should have the white plastic holder thingy, just lever this off gently with a screwdriver, you'll probably end up breaking it like i did, just be careful not to damage the paintwork.

is there any way of removing the bulb without removing the plastic bracket holding it?

i dont think so mate, not without removing the plastic holder first, but dont quote me on that.....it may just be difficult
