1. Total Vauxhall have agreed to come and cover the day.

2. Jon Shields from Courtenay has said he will come and take part.

We now have in the region of 35+ people, and I assume plenty will drop out, so come on it should only cost ?18 to get in and run about 5 times!

I'll be there Mark. Car's finally on the road. Couple of niggles to sort out but should be done in time for trax. Seems pretty quick but i can't remember what it used to be like before the mods.

It's going on the rollers next friday so we'll see.

Is there any way of finding out your 0-60 time whilst on the strip? At the moment, I'm hoping to hit the 1/4 mile in under 20secs, but I'd also like to know what 0-60 I'm doing.

K+N I've seen a nova gte with 137 bhp (at flywheel i assume thats what your quoting) not break the 8 second mark. So i'm a bit dubious about that one.

Slim for 0-60 times get to trax. They do timed runs all day.

As for estimated times i'll be happy with anything under 17s. Thats the speed the fastest car in my class runs at york.

you go to trax, run on the 0-60, if you equal or better the time claimed i'll pay your entry to trax and your 0-60 run.

Only problem is damn nova speedos! Unless you know what speed your speedo shows when you "actually" hit 60 it'll be difficult to work out.
