how do i remove this because the new metal handle won't fit over the runnber handle :( thx in advance
just cut it off mate, u aint gonna need it again

Yep once cut down the length it should slide off.
iff stanley knife doesn't work try a hacksaw, it worked when i couldn't get the gear knob off
Surely theres an easier way...Vauxhall wouldnt just stick something on without it being able to come off...would they? lol

i tried so hard to remove that gear knob it was a right pain in the arse so i resorted to cuttin the thing off it might sound a bit brutal but it worked :D :P :D
it might not work for the hand brake but its worth a try

Just keep slicing it down one line until you hit the metal then you should be able to split it open and it should come off! :D

cut the thing off mate hacksaw will do the trick :evil:
