does anybody know roughly what insurance group a bmw 316 is its the realy old shape think about G reg 3 door

i realise that groups variy from insurance company but just after a rough idea

is your looking at getting omne then i would look at getting at lest a 320i, a 316i wouldnt pull you out of bed :roll:

and as for the group i dont no sorry

All the 316's are group 12 insurance.

if it is the same insurance group as a GTE nova dont get it Lee. the 316 and 318 are shit and i mean really shit. mah mate got insured on his 318is (sporty one with m tech bits) for the same price as my GTE, and if his was a standard car then teh GTE would still piss on him. ask about a 325i coupe they are nice cars!!

its just an idea at the mo and it depends if the nova wud sell for what i want will have to see
not to fused about speed of it as me sri aint exactly the fastest thing about just want summat different

they are nice cars!! will be good to you if they have been treated well, but i would say stay clear of the M40 engines in 1600 and 1800. as they eat camshafts/flollowers and leak oil and sound like they have been fead with gravel form the factory!! and the suspention on them is not too hot either. but they can still do donuts!! that is always a good laugh

it looks like its bin lowered tbh so i dont think thatll be a prob but 4 ?300 and the body work lookin ok i think the engines gunna be a shed
ne way got r lass to get me auto trader so gunna look through that

yeh i would say for 300 then the engine will be like as i described above!! have a look in the auto trader and get something different if you want it. let me know how you get on.

there was a totally stripped 325 at donnington today and he couldn't get near me, i even moved over on the straight expecting him to fly by but he didn't

epo just to let u know mate the g plate beemers are the E30 model, a mate of mine had a 318i and it woz quite gutless unless u reved the tits off it everywhere 8)
