5 speed box needed to improve that top end speed on 1.2 4spd

Just wondered whether if I was to put a 5 speed box on my 1.2 Merit, would it help on improving my top end speed.

And if so what am I looking at, how much would it cost to buy and put in

doubt it. you'll probably run out of puff in 5th gear and top speed will be obtainable out of 4th. mind you, depends on the ratios and final drive of the box...

no point... 4th in most boxes is same as 5th in sr boxes

As ste said, no point, you want a faster top speed whack an SR lump in there.......
