Battery > CD HU ?!

Hey guys,

Still not got round to fitting my HU, its a W.I.P!

I'm stuck again, i need to get wires from the battery to the HU. I've thought about all the other options, Hazard Switch, Ignition Fuse etc etc but I've decided this is the most straight forward for me and unless any one wants to do a really nice write up on how to fit it in either of the other ways ill stick to trying it from the Battery terminals ;)Unless you really think id be best doing another way?!.......anyways....

How can i get wires from the battery through the metal through to the back of the dash/inside of the car?I thought about just following the other wires but they all seem to covered by "suction pad" lookin things and im reluctant to pull em off incase i pull something important out!

Look mate i have a bloody discovery and that was a right bitch to do :-(
If your car is a nova then you could just look for dayligh comming through under the dash somewhere and see if a live wire will fit through.
Its ok taking wires from the fuses or hazzard warning lights, but it depends on if something else is shareing the hazaard warning switch.
Taking too much power from the switch that is already shareing with something else ? could blow the fuse or dammage your cd player.
If the hazzard warning switch hasant got anything shareing ? then you can take a wire from that if it has a big inuf fuse to take the load of the cd player.
Your fuse box might have a spare connection that you can take a wire from ? if it has ? just wire it to that.
Also have a look for rubber grommits that are hidden around the bulkhead and take a wire through there.
There are lots of ways to put a wire into the car, most of them you havent noticed yet, and belive me after looking at my disco for an hour i noticed daylight comming through and mannged to put a wire intoi my amp now:-)
