Well, those who went , went did you all think?

It was my first time at Billing, and I had a pretty good day. Cheers to Mike Hodder for driving us up there, and cheers to Barry for giving us a lift back :)

I thought the standard of cars was very high, not just from the Nova's but from some of the Astras, and ermm, *cough* Corsas.

I thought the car of the show probably deserverd the title. It was a very tidy, clean car.

There wern't that many "mad, over the top" cars, which was good and bad. Good becasue it meant the majority of cars could be looked at by people like myself and it's nice to know that I might be able to get my car to the same standard, but on the other hand, it would've been nice to see some really crazy bodykits, etc.

I've now got loads of ideas what I want to do with my car, and even though there was a large selection of cars, like the organisers were saying, it's the little touches that really make you're car stand out.

My favourite cars of the show were probably the two little euro style Novas (or corsas, whatever you want to badge them as ;)) However, some of the Astras were really nice.

Hopefully I'll have my car ready for next year :)

Jim.

Billing was a bit boring this time, a certain "event" also dampened the atmosphere for me.. the guilty party can mention there names if they want but im not going to.

I went down on Sunday, planned to stay all day but drove up to RS Owners Club National day at Donington at just before lunch. Nice cars but not much activity was there ! :(
The weather was crap and I was just a tad embarrased arriving in my Merit + in the company of the GTEs and GSIs ! I was so fed up I hardly spoke to Breeny when I saw him... soz Breeny....

I was there for the first time too...well, the first time to the PCC weekend anyway...I'd been to VBOA 5 weeks earlier ;)

Finally got to meet a few of the peeps off here, and all 'cos breeny spotted me whist I was aimlessly driving about trying to find someone I knew!!! He spotted me and shouted over....if he'd not, I probably would have been driving about for hours :O lol!

I was there from about 6pm on Saturday and slept in the car......amazed how comfy that was! Had a great weekend, but my stomach played up on Saturday night (dodgy can of bear! and I think the burger from the dodgy place near the fair helped either!), so that spoilt that night and I was in my car asleep from about half eleven!

After a nice breakfast of 4 slices of plain white bread and a couple cups of strawberry spring-water, I was ready for a day of looking at mint cars :D
Met some top peeps, saw some top cars, and went to my mates house after who I don't see often 'cos he lives near Nottingham, so that was good too!

breeny was it the event with your car behind the main tent!??!?!! ooeeeeerrrr!!!!

Saturday night was pretty good, apart from drinking the vodka/rum mix and then collapsing into my tent by about 12:30!!!!
We won the drinking competion though, so that made up for it!!!! :)

I will definately be going back to Billing again and avoiding Max Power Live next year, the atmosphere was sooo much better at Billing!!
