i'm considering taking the corsa intruder spoiler and modding it to fit the nova, but i've also had the idea of taking the sypher spoiler (saxo or 106, should be roughly the same size) and mounting a bi-plane spoiler (the one from monster modz) in the middle of it. would the second option be going a little too far fetched or would it be worth doing? or should i forget both ideas and find a different spoiler for my nova?

unless ur going for a full bodykit i wud forget about that idea and go for something a bit more subtle imo

i'm having a full kit, it's just that the spoiler with it isn't very appealing to me. i have everything exterior for my nova planned, everything except the spoiler, that's the only thing bugging me at the moment, hence the poll.

I've no idea what any of those spoilers look like - Any chance of sticking some pics up?

you can kinna see the sypher spoiler on the manufacturers site (it's a poor site to say the least) www.ccm.uk.net it's on the main page, if you can see it poking out of the back. if not then it's easier to see on the same car in any mags like fast car or max power.

bi-plane, available in either fibreglass or carbon fibre:

Need an outlandish kit to pull it off without looking stuck on and OTT.

That black Bi-plane thing is the best of a bad bunch to be honest.

Not my cup of tea at all!!

Al Wilson and cooper_nova:
i have an 'outlandish' kit in mind, bits and bobs from here and there to create something completely different.

nova m@rk:
the bi-plane i have in mind isn't an aluminium jobby, it's a fibreglass jobby.

Jules:
so if it were you, you'd just get something totally different?

Cool mate, just looked @ email. Should be fun getting that lot on the car - as long as it all flows and has regularity it should look top. Theres lots of opinions :D here about fibreglass but can't wait to see it when its done!
Good luck!

it'll all be done, i have a mate that's skilled in the arts of bodywork, whether it be fitting new items, repairing old items, or modifying items to fit. what i can't do he'll help me out with, so it'll be a reality as soon as the money starts coming in faster than it's going out. but which spoiler design do you think would be best with it all, sypher+bi-plane, intruder, or something else?

Personally I'd go for something carbon fibre but thats only because I'm trying to make the whole car out of it :D But with yours I think the Intruder one would look most at home with the other parts you've chosen.
Why don't you post those pics up and ask people?

as advised by Al, here goes.

the front bumper is going to be the intruder bumper (seen on a previous post from me)

the skirts are from this saxo kit:

the arches are form this nova kit:

the rear bumper i can't show you as i don't know how to post a picture that isn't on the internet. maybe the front bumper, skirts and arches will help you imagine what i want from my lil 1.4SR?

PS. don't forget to vote at the top :)
