yep. piper 285 cam and a set of vaux followers. might rebuild the bottom end when i put them in but i'm not sure yet? i've got a holiday coming up so the rebuild might have to wait.
let me know when you want to go to santa pod and i will come down.

Dont forget about me!! Add me to that list!!

Steven's building a nice spec 1300 for me. Another month or so should see it finished!

Spec in a nutshell: Pretty much a brand new engine, including new Twin 40's, New piper 285 cam, headwork, lightened n balanced!

sounds good. what head work you had done?

New valves, valve seats, valve guides, ported, skimmed, inlet & Outlet matched to manifolds etc.. Pretty much everything, without going to bigger valves!

Was is Steven (gault) that informed you about your carb missmatch? Have you got the cam & carb fitted? Whats it feel like now?

Keith

benji

yeah it was steven that told me. i didn't fit them yet because i had a track day at the weekend and didn't have time to get the cam run-in and set-up.
