Hi nbaxter,

glad to hear yours is all up and running, what is it like to set up after it starts?

cheeze.....I have got problems with a ignition on my 1.6GSi conversion.

I have a spark at king lead but not at plug leads.

Here is the post in tech:

I had the same problem with a cavalier and it turned out to ne a naffed coil.
Crappy spark to the main ht lead and the other four had a weak spark.
The spark has to be be generated and if the main unit that gererates the spark is naffed ? then no spark to the other leads.
Eliminate the obvious then whatever reminds is the fault
Just a suggestion :-)

Sorry to steal post, should have replied in other one in tech really.

But i have tried another coil known to be good along with a cap and rotor arm from my 1.8 which was firing well.

I will prob try another ingnition module, the little thing under the coil on the bracket.

Other than that I think you need a desk fan and some sticky back plastic (ala blue peter style) for your V12 turbo 8)

Oh and some double sided sticky back plastic works wonders for mountings. Just remember to same up some cereal boxes to space frame it!

A great job on the car nbaxter, need to update ur feature now, I have run a wire from the coil to the dash for revs, just wire one end in then touch it on coil connections to see which one it is.

And apart from all the cheezy comments (no pun intended) it is great to see this site help people and bring nova owners together to share problems and experiences to create a great wealth of information and owners 'home'.
