smoothin rear end off! need help with boot

Im smoothin my rear end off, but still want to b able to open the boot, how do i do it?? :roll:

you have to buy a boot soleniod kit that allows you to rig up a button on your dash that will 'pop' the boot like many modern cars. Supernovas do a kit here: www.supernovas.uk.com

u could make ur own kit. using a boot release motor from another car or a central locking motor that springs back when the 12v taken away. some automotive wire (5 - 6m), an inline fuse, some chocolate block n a wire coat hanger. u can pick up push switches anywhere or if youve got rid of a rear wiper the use the rear wash switch. wire it up to an ignition live to make it more secure.

get a solenoid from maplins then wire it up off ur rear wiper

Yep then wire that to the spare button on alarm fob and amaze stupid people how you open the boot by just walking up to it... :lol: :lol:

lol its alwasy a laff! telling birds to cough or make a certain noise and then open it! it works with essex birds neway!


use your rear wiper wires! all sorted then

or just be lazy like me an leave it as it is an open from inside if you need to open it

or use the old piece of string fasterned to the lock and leave it hangin from behind the bumper
