14sr timing cover

i have no timing cover on my nova or a point where the bottom timing mark is any ideas how to get around this untill i get a cover

The Camshaft mark is dead vertical, so should be pretty easy to work out. Not sure about the bottom one though.

regardin the poll 100mph + well mine does anyway easiley while tryin to get up with sean and dave gsi

its only the timing marks you need them for
as there is no pin on the oil pump like on the older pre tensioner models

putting the belt on is no problem as the bottom pully has marks in it and the cam pully sits vertical

im in exactly the same position...
need someone with a good timing light so you can find tdc then wind the advance on using the timing light
