Tacho Question

I have 1.2 carb angine with 5 speed gearbox. Car came with no revcunter on the dash as all standart novas, so I have got one from shop, however I do not know where the red zone starts, can some one tell me please. I know It ends on 6.6 :twisted:

What do you want to know......if you mean the red section on the rev counter i think its about 6500-7000rpm.

Yes, but according to the manual mine RPM's ends on 6600.

according to the speedo it will do about 130mph!

on a 1.2 the powerband will probably be from 4500 to 6000 any more than that is wasted revs.

i ave a 1.2 4spd, n it redlines at about 5000
