Al Wilson

Mmmm something like that! :D

Just putting in a rollcage makes the interior look a whole lot better.

Redline and TV mate. Just something a little different, taken bloody ages though!

the vents in the doors are a bit different must taken ages i need to do something with mine, there rotten along the bottom are they repairable?

Al Wilson

Depending on how much its usually a case of cutting out the rust and fibreglassing and filling the gaps. If they are way beyond that its easier to get a door from a scrappy or break job.

look on the link in my sig there a photo of my dash (the bottom picture)

Mike.

that looks pretty good m8, was int a struggle to get the dash out and how did you paint it?

General Baxter

you got the 4 star screw on the side (you can see as you open the door)
then you got the one under the ash tray, then theres 2 holding it to the car 1 you have to take the glove box out for and one you have to take the clocks out for, which should all ready be done if your taking your dash out

paint!

its 5 coats of just normal primer, i found halfords yes halfords primer is the best around, then the paint is from motorworld about 3 coats of that

I could go extreme and have no dash bord just a number of dials

Good luck if you go down that route mate. Its a nightmare to do but for
me its been worth it in the long run!

Its your decision at the end of the day and getting inspiration from others is the best way to decide. For me I just wanted it to be original.

Al Wilson

More carbon and 2-litre turbo but crippling student finance is slightly delaying the process! GSi way can certainly look very good!

Probably got special treatment in the pig shower room as well.

Vents were just a case of cutting mate, not very difficult at all.

Mike.

i'm not so sure about the red but i have always thought about colour coding the dash with blue, i wouldn't go over bored with the paint tho
