number plates

Got square plates on mine but they have to be the standard plate size.

yeh i think i should get the tailgate smoothed first it definetly needs a new plate on the rear anyway, some twat cracked it :evil:

i really want a flush tailgate but i don't reall know ho to go about makin one, i've tried buyin one of here but uts pickin it up. i won't put anew plate on untill the tailgates sorted

if u have square plates with normal tailgate standard size square plates will not fit there too tall
ull need import size plates 6x13" i think took me a while to track some down as they have to be made as show plates
front ones size dont matter (or so r lass tells me) :lol:

Heard that too, apparently just the front does have a specific size. Not sure I'd trust that thoery though.

don't take this as gospal but.......you can now get them plates where the surround matches the shape of the lettering and are legal, so i would expect that if the lettering is the same size and shape you can do whatever you like with the background

i got square number plates front and back, on the back its just a standard tailgate with the standard size square plate, there a bit tall so i cut it down a bit at the top and at the bottom. worked alright.

i cut one of mine down and it looked wank thats why i got the import one for the back

I couldnt be a*sed with drilling holes in the bumper so went for a vinyl plate :D Looks rather good!
