As promised a few pics of another carbon panel I've been working on for the last few days. Not sure what you guys think but its different...

Doesn't let much sun in but thats not the point...

It has taken a bit of effort. Done much in the same way as the other panels on my car.

Just pressing it in the curve of the roof shape now. Otherwise the rain is going to come flooding in!

I've got a sunroof-less shell but there we are...

where do you get the carbon fiber from?

From a place near me that sells it in sheets. That stuff is fibreglass backed though to make it more rigid.

price? where are you based? what do you cut it with?

Piece I bought for the sunroof was about ?150 but there was quite a bit left over also best quality carbon I've come across. I use hard blades for cutting but it blunts them easily and trying to stop the carbon splitering at the edges is the hard part.

Working on the boot next, then front wings. Redesigning the car at the moment as well, having more subtle bumpers put on it. :D :D :D

u'll have to come down southend so i can c it in the.....well..i wud say metal but its more of a mild-steel carbon alloy consturction lol 8) 8) 8)

Lol! Not sure yet, just putting pen to paper designing them but I would like them to be.

Southend would be good mate, did my Redline shoot down there! When do you go down there and we'll meet up.
