from a driveable 1.2 to a driveable 2.0 8v (if the rest of the car had been painted in time) 2 days and thats including painting the bay welding and removal of all rust.

erm took me about 6 months to put a c20xe in a gte

took the old one out, then 5 months later remembered I had to put another engine back in its place.

And i wondered why it would start

lol! Sounds familiar story with my interior and wiring. Taking stuff out is always far easier than putting it back!

if you have all the parts and all the right tool i recon you could easily do it in 2 days, took me and mate 2 hours to remove old engine, then about a full day to put other one back in and ages trying to get the wiring done.

Its all about having the right stuff and knwo what your doing!
