thats absolute bollacks mate, not many cars would stick with a standard XE'd mini.....let alone one on tb's, thats gonna be pushing at least 210bhp and weighing say 700-800kgs?? the gt is 160 and prob weighs over a 1000kg

has he had it rr'd?
is it a true 160? or is it filter = 15bhp

I know exactly what you mean. I go on a local site, mainly so I can get to know what cars people drive in the area, maybe give them a flash or a beep of the horn as we pass, but honestly, some of them think there car is the best thing ever and will slate pretty much anything else.

Only thing I can suggest is prove them wrong. I've already got a guy in a Corsa claiming 140bhp and a 1/4mile time of 16.6, my best was 15.2, not that he knows that, but he wants to race me at Santa Pod ;) Best thing is, I've only got a 1.6 :D

14.5 at 95mph is the best i got with a backseats out and a powercap, four branch and 2 1/4 inch exhaust on, was running standard tyre pressures and a full tank of fuel though

dhdev, just realised who you are lol. You were at the NL v RB shootout. I had a good look inside your car, asked where you got the carbon door cards from, but you said they came with the car (i think). Did you do the 14.3 on that day?

Yeah i did the 14.3 on the nl v rb day, then had to limp home with a blown engine!! my mate video'd my runs and you can see the engine deteriate during the day, by the end the smoke was pouring out!!!

The loaded G*t (dhdev) has just spend ?1200 having the bottom end rebuilt with some pukka Forged Pocketed pistons and all the trimmings! Should be good for over 200bhp.

But the limitations of the driver will stop the car getting into the 13's :D
