As i am bored at work, i decided to find a picture of an immaculate mk1 SR and modify it using Adobe Photoshop into the car that I want to eventually own, after i've done all the work etc...

I have taken this picture from the home page of Decs site (if in any way you dont want this picture here mate, tell me and i'll remove it quicker than you can say "throttle Bodies" ;)) andmodified it by doing the following:

approx -80mm drop
GTE/GSI skirts with 'triangle' removed from next to rear arch, with all swage lines smoothed
smaller no. plate on front
modified mk1 SR bumper with 'big mouth' look
small splitter from a normal corsa (black rubbery looking one)

the skirts balance out the look of the car, making the sides level with the bottom of the front bumper...

Just thought i'd share it with u lot...this is what i'm wanting my car to look like when it's finished...just wanted to know everyone's opinions on it...especially decs ;)

Mate - That looks PHAT!!!!!!!

I luv the front bumper opening (Actually think about doing that!) - so know I know what it'd look like :) I'd luv to fit a lower front spoiler, but I havn't found one to suit the contours of an SR front bumper...

The skirts make the car look slammed - SWEET!

I've actually added a slightly smaller front number plate to it recentely, I agree it looks much tidier :p

Cheers for doing that mate, I think I'll add it to my site!

Nice!

The best way to get skirts like that, is to use MKII Cav ones, from an LX/i, CD or SRi/SRi 130.

I used to have 'em fitted to mine, and it was different....I almost wished I'd kept 'em now, 'cos it was more individual than it is now with GTE/GSi ones!

Sorry to say this ged but that front bumper idea will be on my car by the end of the week with silver mesh. I bought the mesh ages ago but didn't want to work on my car until it was running right. I'll get some pics up when it's done.
