can ne 1 recomend a good pop up blocker thats easy to follow\understand as am thick with comchuters

just post a link up
oh and it has to be free

am usin a google one at the mo and it stops some but not all
i did have a shareware version of stop sign but its run out ages ago

i've git norton pro fire wall and thats got a pop up blocker on it. I may be able to Send you a copy!(totally legal of course)

The Google toolbar blocks pop ups and makes it easy to search the web.

thats what ive got jules but it doesnt seem to block alot of them it blocks sum

You could always try firefox, comes with a built in pop up blocker and its free

^^^^^was just bout to say that, use that epo mate!
it replaces Internet Explorer and has an inbuilt pop-up blocker, loads pages/pictures quicker, menus make more sense etc....try it! if you need a hand setting it up give us a shout mate.....

Search and Destroy Spybot, best thing I have tried:

Will block ads

Also has active registry monitoring for all those spyware that try to install without asking you.

And will fix the registry for you on first use to ensure it's clean.

just search on google for it

Oh and it's free cos it is made by someone who hates ads and spyware so made it as a campaign against them.

with that fire fox replacin me explorer thingy i wont lose owt like me email adress or owt else

na you wont mate, you'll have to put in your favorites again + you'll have to log in to NL normally for the first time! lol

just do it mate! all you do is click on firefox instead of explorer...sorted!
