View Full Version : Oil Cooler Mounting??

Hi guys,

Can any1 tell me where they mounted there oil cooler, on the 2.016v nova conversion please. As i have mounted mine in front of the rad with the pipes runnin down the chassis leg, pretty much how it was mounted in the Astra gte. The drivers wheel is catchin the pipes(oil cooler ones). Any ideas chaps??

I can see how the pipes can foul the wheels though! Can't you run them under the chassis leg? I never seen one so I don't know.

I had the exact same problem with mine. I used two 90 degree connectors and fed the pipes back under the oil filter and then along to the front of the car. I have also seen it done by using some tight 90 degree bends that allow the pipe to follow the inner wing but I couldn't find them anywhere, hence my solution. Hope this helps.
