ahh, finally finshed my exams so have started working on my car again.
1 problem holding me back..
ive got a 1.4 engine, 1.3sr gearbox (4.18)
unless i start the engine with the clutch down the car jumps back. (in neutral) when i start it then lift the clutch, the car goes backwards. when i select a gear then lift the clutch the car starts stalling and is moving niether forward or backwoards.
ive tried lineing up the gears acording to the haynes several time but no joy!!
sum1 said t take the top of the selector off, i did this but i dont know anything about gearboxes so all the cogs confused me!
ive tried pulling the selctor out3 inches but it wont go more than 2 at the max
anyone got any ideas thanks...??
