Welding advice for MOT

alright all, just got my car back from the garage and it needs fucking welding. needs both rear spring seats welding up and bottom corner of the passenger side sill/wheel arch.

anyone know how hard that'd be for an amateur to do? is it worth doing at all? any guideline prices? garage reckons about ?300 - 400 :o

on the plus side, the weber 32/34 tuned-by-ear-but-doesn't-have-right-jets passed on emissions :lol:

I think that garage it is joke?!?! I had a big hole on sus turret, floor and rear spring mounts welded for ?70!

You could have a go yourself, anyone can do the welding it's just setting the welder up.
