a thread chaser is a sort of file and you simply file away at the bolt to get rough threads down to size

I've just read your posts. I take it that the bolt that attaches the caliper to the hub is the one that is spinning??

please just get a hub from a scrappy or from the parts for sale section on this site. you will spend a fortune trying to mend it and a s/hand hub will work straight away
