Knackered thred on Calliper bolt...

on my 2ltr cav gsi calliper my bottom bolt that bolt it to the hub has bust, so it just spins, on the end of the thred on the bolt it's slightly worn but the whole bolt goes in and spins with fingers but can feel it slightly gripping, any chance it could just be the bolt or if not is there anything i could do apart from change the calliper.

the caliper to hub bolts are threaded on the steering knuckle side not the caliper side so its prolly new steering knuckle time

which is even MORE annoying since u just fitted new bearings to that knuckle

unless its the slider bolts your referring do but by your description i doubt it

try getting a hellicoil of the right size
