oil gauge problem. HELP

On my oil gauge the needle is right over to the right hand side. shouldn't it be on the left hand side.
its on my GTE which i have not yet drove as im waiting for my 18th so my insurance goes down. whats up with it and hw do i fix it :!:

When it's running it should be over to the right as it mean that there is sufficent pressure there, when it's over to the left (where the red zone is) it means the pressure is low.
Sounds like it's fine to me.

or if the cables have come off the sensor the gauge will stay to the right
