Well the time has come to move on i think, so my car is for sale.
The specs are as follows.
Engine:-
2.0 16V from calibra. (its got some history, it had only done 50,000 i saw the MOT certs from the previous car etc)
Coscast Head (head only done 25000, it was replaced due to previous one going pourous)
Courtney High Lift Cams
Engine will come with Twin 45 Dellorto carbs fitted, (rebuilt etc)
Facet Red top fuel pump and Regulator King.
Mappable Ignition Setup
Chrome rocker cover, with red spark plug cover, and red cam belt cover.
Full Straight through exhaust system with twin exits, 120*70mm i think they are
Manifold could do with replacing, due to the lambda sensor thread being stripped but, i'll have it welded up due to carbs not needing it, so its not a really big problem!
Its just had a new thermostat fitted.
Full Red Hose set from Turbo Chris (?150)
Nearly New Nova GTE radiator (september 03)
Competition/carquip engine mounts (they won't break basically)
GTE Driveshafts with new seals etc.
F16 CR gearbox from a cavalier.
Gear linkage gets every gear now its been played with.
Harry Hockley Strengthening Kit, and stitch welded engine bay (not seam)
chrome bonnet lifters, stainless rocker cover bolts.
engine run on optimax all the time i've had it, and the expensive shell helix oil
Brakes
Front, Vectra V6 Setup with drilled and grooved discs
Rear, Astra GTE setup with new discs (drilled and grooved) and pads
Harry hockley Bias adjustable pedal box, no servo, but its easy to get used to. brakes are better than any i've tried before, the back won't lock up!
Wheels
17" BK 239 wheels, with 205/40/17 michelin pilot sport tyres, also come with 4 spare 205/40/17 tyres (part worn by me before i got the michelins)
The only problem is that the paint on the wheels is coming off, so i'll probably get a replacement set before the car is sold. (so car will be sold with brand new wheels)
Suspension
FK Coil Overs lowered approx 60mm comes with spanners so you can adjust them yourself
uprated springs to go with the XE engine
(amazing handling)
Bodywork
Full respray at beginning of 2003
BAT Sport 3 front bumper.
BAT Evo Rear bumper with numberplate located at the bottom, with meshed part, (second cut out for exhaust also moulded in)
Novadose side skirts
Smoothed rear boot with one off spoiler, (gettin resprayed before car is sold)
Delocked doors, (no rust at all, just fitted)
M5 Mirrors, (drivers side needs new baseplate but i'll sort that)
Astra Gsi bonnet vents
Front arches have been modified so the wheels dont touch at all.
rear arches are modified so the wheel don't touch.
Windows have a light smoke tint to them
Single wiper with smooth scuttle panel and smooth wing where old airel was.
(the single wiper needs adjusting slighty but i'm not sure how)
boot floor has been removed so, there's no spare wheel well
clear rear lights
Interior
16v digi dash
Cobra sidewiner seats in red and black
Sabelt 4 point harnesses
momo steering wheel i think its the tornado (slight scratch on it, could do with a touch up)
richbrook gear stick
red sri door cards with 5 1/4" speakers fitted
no back seats, just a big stereo setup (listed below)
loads of other little things too.
oh, its the sunroof model aswell!
the back stereo has been based around an mdf floor, with red acoustic carpet all round. there is sound deadening material under it aswell to prevent too many vibrations.
its got electric window/central locking (driver side leccy motor could do with changing)
ICE
face off Kenwood mp3 head unit. (skip forward button is a bit stiff)
2 rockford fosgate amps.
1 700X powering the 2 1000Watt (300rms) Type R Alpine subs
1 300X powering the magnat components up front, and the infinity 300wattt 6*9's in the back
Rockford fosgate powercap
2 Fuse block/earth blocks
Home made relay to turn it all on.
4 gauge wire from battery with 90amp fuse.
loads more i've probably forgot.
security
its got a cat 1 alarm which could do with setting up again as its too sensative! comes with certificate for the 5% off your insurance!
I've got over ?10000 of receipts but there's more if i could find them, receipts for things like stereo aren't included. the ?10k is just the car itself.
comes with a few months tax and 6 months MOT
due to it being a 1992 K model it doesn't need a cat, although the emissions might be high i'm not sure, it wasn't tested on the last mot.
engine is registered on the log book.
its got a few MOTs with it, but since it had 2 previous lady owners they never kept them,
can't think of much else.
the actualy car mileage is 80'050 at the moment, and i hadn't planned doing much more on it before i sell it.
it always gets loads of attention around the local area.
