I've been thinking, and I reckon I might get some alloys soon for the Nova. I still don't want to spend too much money on it, so I can save up for the newer car, but realistically thats a long way off.
I know of some wheels I might go for, all of which are only 15", but I need some advice on the brakes. They would be quite visibal, and the ones I've got at the moment look shit, as you can probably imagine.
For a full brake kit, for 15's on a Nova, it costs about ?565 :( . I can't do that, so is there any other way I can get some better looking brakes for a fraction of that price? :?:
just put 16v brakes on it mate, look in the forsale section and some go really reaqlly cheap in there
or ne 2.0 cav brakes mate will still look good scrappy shud have em cheap as chips

^^ done that many a time, as far as i no all the 2.0 cavs including the 8vs have the same brakes. Never had a problem with them.

What about these..?

Also, can you only get them for the front? If I went down a scrappy for the cav ones, would they only be for 2 wheels?
If that is the case, then doesn't the rear brakes look shit behind the alloys?
Yeah, they seem ok, but you can get brand new kits for almost as cheap as that. Don't worry about the rear brakes. Paint the drums the same colour as the calipers so they look a bit better than the rusty colour they probably are at the moment.
I'll try and find some websites for manufacturers that sell new kits. How much did you want to spend? Bear in mind, the kit on ebay could go up depending on the number of bids, so it might work out cheaper to buy a new kit?

Well I had a look around for full kits, and the only one I found for a Nova like mine is something like ?570.
I think about ?150 would be the limit. Depends.
Just want something that looks good.
