head lights flash when braking?

right ive just noticed that when i brake my head lights come until i take my foot off the brake. It doesnt do it when my lights are on.
It's really pissing my off anyone have any idea?

we tried that one an it was still doing it, ever since ive had the car it seems to have had wierd electrical faults

check ur brake light bulbs! they shud have 2 filaments in. wen 1 of mine burnt out i put in a single filament lamp, n the head lamps came on wit de brake.

ah that sounds like it, i have just put a new bulb in the back have to go check

it cud also be a blown fuse in the circuit.

if you cant find the bad earth try gettin a thick piece of wire and connecting it from the block to the shell. that way you know that if it still happens its deffo not a bad earth

90% time when rewiring mine it was bad earths, but I did have the same problem with the lights except on opposite corners! That turned out to be an incorrect fuse thatkept blowing. Its the way the circults are designed - one thing goes wrong and it snowballs other things!
