boot catch? chromed?

want to get the boot catch chromed as i have a fully stripped out interia (see it from inside the car)

ive looked at the catch and there is a nylon/plastic insert in it

how do you remove it?

any1 else had this chromed?

you could buy chrome type paint. then mask the plastic area off before spraying.

Mate its more trouble than its worth - chromed all the catches in mine but that one, it needs to be dismantled first it you want to try it.
