now then, im plaining to take me old steering wheel off me 1.2 (its huge) and replace it with an SRI steering wheel

does anyone know if it will go straight into place with out any problems?

cause at the moment i got it jst sat doin nothin n im not sure about it all

When you try and get the wheel off make sure you don't wiggle it side to side or you will knacker the splines. You have to pull it straight off, hit it from behind. And don't try and let the steering lock take the strain, because it will snap.
Make sure you refit the wheel that the locking washer is under the nut.

Don't hit the middle cos there is a collapsable section in it!

I used a hub puller to get mine off.

P.S. undo the nut and leave it on the end of the shaft otherwise the wheel will fly off and hit u in the face!

lol yeah, my cousin did that on his renault 5, pulled the steering wheel hard as he could and whacked him straight in the nose - A & E for 4 hours ;) shoulda seen the state of him ;)

best advice buy a proper steerin wheel puller then re flog it on if u want or save it to be used again or on a mates car

If you can, take the front windscreen out, it makes it much easier to hit the steering wheel from behind.
