nova clutch cable 2.0l 16v

what clutch cable is used on the conversion do you have to mod the cable to fit a new one or will a normal gte cable fit

use the nova cable. but where it comes out the bulkhead the hole needs to be modified topint down more and point more towards the gearbox aswell. this stops the cables breaking overy hundred miles.

i used a cav gsi cable
what car is ur engine from?

use the acc cable that is matched to the engine

i have always used nova cables with no hassle. other than breaking a few before modding the hole...

the engine is from an astra 2.0 16v (20xe) going into a nova gte should i use the accelerator cable from that of is it ok to use the cable from my gte???????????????

same here does the throtle cable hole need modding also that seams abit stiff aswell

as i said i always use the nova cables.....

no need to mod the throttle cable hole. make sure your cable isnt catching an anything or turning too sharply anywhere on its route to the throttle body

i have read you should use the cavvy or astra cable i thoughjt this was due to length but if yoyu say you can use nova cables thats excellent one less thing to buy :D

You need to use a Nova clutch cable and a Cav/Astra accelerator cable. Thats what i've always used anyway when doing conversions.

use the cable from the engine,
the hole dont need modding
the clutch cable is a nova cable,and the hole needs bending down and 2wards the gearbox....
or it will snap,mine has 3times

to explain it again for sure. i always use the nova clutch cable and the donor car throttle cable
