Had this bumper in the shed for afew weeks and finally got round to fitting it today to see if it goes with the car or not.

Theres acouple of things i do like about it but for some reason i think it looks odd looking directly at it.

Opinions please.

The reason ive decided to change it abit is cuz its going back in the body shop next week and they said they wouldnt mind spraying/fitting it so thought i'd see if i liked it before i wasted their time and mine.

ive got a novadose rear bumper on mine id think about doin a numberplate recess before sending it to the bodyshop tell me what ya think of mine might give you an idea

Jesus, didnt quite expect that lol straight 100% novadose win so far then.

Sorry if it looks the same as your jim :oops: i havent done it on purpose. Its just my taste.

From the spec of your engine though u'd still leave me standing :twisted:

Number plate/light will be fitted as in the first pics.

usually i'd say GSi

but the novadose goes well with the rest of ur car, but PLEASE PLEASE recess the plate into the bumper!! :)

Does anyone know of any guides or is there a 'recess panel' that you can buy to help with di it?

lol sorry, at the risk of everyone slating me, i really dont like the novadose on ur rear..

IMO it looks too "round". the nova is meant to be square/boxy looking (IMO) and the novadose rear looks out of place (again, imo) :?

but, we cant all agree otherwise it'd be dull :lol:

Dont be silly about people slating you lol, its one of the reasons why i was having second thoughts.

I do however like the fact that the bumper is alot deeper and hangs lower than the original bumper because as well as making the car look lower, the car is now level all round. (if you know what i mean).

yeah i get what you mean. personally, i think the original back bumpers are too short. they need to be longer so they match the lowness of the front bumper.. (imo)

but again like i said before, i dont like the n/d rear, even if it is longer than the original..but its up to you, its gunna be on ur car, you're the one thats gunna be using it with it on, so decision should be mainly urs..

novadose would be alrite on your car gazz if the fron was matched up say a deeper splitter, otherwise its out of place a bit, i think.

its hard to decide for the nova as ive yet to see the perfect bumper apart from standard mk2 and mk1.

ill try and get some pics of my new bumper, its mk2, meets, astra mk3, meeets corsa reiger, then mutilated, worse than it sounds :D

Hmmm, at the risk of being unpopular.. Never been too keen on the Novadose rear, simply because when you look side on, it gets further and further from the rear wheel as it curves downwards!

Apart from that, they look good when you bring everything else a tad deeper :D
