is there already a trans for the didnt dash on a nova 1.4 sri thats can be used on the digi dash?

nope

you need to get a transducer from a 2.0 16 or 8 valve astra which has a digi dash.
the transducer is the bit which replaces the thick spindle cable on the back of the gear box near the selector which goes to the back of the clocks.

the transducer is black about 2 inches tall and is plastic with a build in nut around it and three cables comin out the top. you need a size 24 spanner to undo it.

the nova 1.2i and 1.4i (single point) have senders built in that will power 8v digidashes (the ones with the tick)

i dunno about the SRi

have a look under the speedo cable and see if theres a black cylinder there with 2 wires coming out

if so splice into the red and blue one and run that to the dash

Dont break the connection to the ECU just splice into it so the feed also goes to the dash
