What are the biggest brakes i can get?

I've got a gsi with 17's-what are the biggest discs i can get under there? Would omega/vectra v6 ones go straight on? I was gona get some calibra 2lt 16v discs and calipers today but he wants ?70 for them which i thought was fooking expensive! Or am i just being a tight arse?!

V6 stuff fits under 16's


?70 for 16v stuff isnt the cheapest, but to be fair its not exactly expensive, provided the pads and discs are in good nick.

if your going to run 17's all the time i suggest getting V6 stuff, or bigger as it will just look homo with "empty" wheels

I'm gona be running 17's most of the time but at the mo i use 14" gsi wheels when i wana race, so bigger brakes are gona fook that plan up-would astra gte discs+calipers fit under 14" gsi 3 spokes?

i dont think 16v brakes will fit under gsi 3spokes
but with 17" rims u can get up to 400mm disc's under them

Sorry mate should be getting some astra gte discs and calipers from jim sri now but when i need stuff in the future i will be coming to you first! Actually i am after some 60mm rear springs for a gsi (60mm lower than standard gsi) if you have any knocking about?

If they're AC Calipers then not a chance, dunno about ATE.

Only a full set of springs I'm afraid mate.
But then, they are only ?40! lol

i had atc and the ate and both sets wouldnt go under the 3spokes
