Think my carb is screwed so i'm considering buying a weber 32/34 and putting it on.

Am i right in thinking i will need a 1.3sr Inlet manifold ?

Is there anything else i need to know ?

My car is manual choke, i presume this will stay the same ?

what kind of gains will i see after putting this on ?

thanks

you will need the 1.3sr inlet manifold and also the throttle cable. You do keep the manual choke cable. Dunno what sort of gains you will though cos as soon as i put it on my car i had to take it off again cos my car wouldnt run with it on

You can also use a 1.2 manifold for this carb, all you have to do is make flange for it. I have a 32/34 on a 1.2 manifold for sale you want it? practicaly new with new filter still have the bill for over ?300
its also jetted for a 1.2 so should run fine!

I'd like a pic of how you've done the manifold if poss. I've seen a 40dcnf (think thats the code, like a downdraft dcoe) weber on a 1.2 manifold and couldn't really see the point

weber did a direct replacement foir the 1.2 /1.3 1b1 carb to fit on that manifold but it was a single choke device
my mate had one on his rally 1300 nova and it went well

so when making the flange do does it run the two chokes into the 1 choke on the manifold?

I suppose you will see about 5-10bhp difference considering your going from single to twin choke aswell.

Use a 1300 manifold for ease of use.

a 4-2-1 exhaust manifold will help it breathe better also.
