Will T40's fit on a 1.3?? Not SR and will will the gain in bhp be, roughly?

Yeah they'll fit with the right inlet manifold and different alternator bracket. As far as performance gains go though, on a standard 1.3 you won't see that big a gain in bhp-to get the most out of t40's you need headwork done and a desent cam. If you're not planning on headwork and a cam then i'd suggest getting a weber 32/34 because you will see gains with that and your fuel consumption wont be through the roof :wink:

Twin 40s are a bit excessive for a 1.3!!

my mate has a webber 32/34 twin choke on his 1.4SR, this produces a good bhp increase.

You can get these second hand or brand spanking new for the price of t40s + set up and rolling road charges. In fact prob cheaper.

A 32/34 will be a lot cheaper than t40's. T40's on a 1.3 aren't excessive though, with a desent cam and headwork you will have a very quick 1.3. Remember the nova sport is a 1.3 with t40's and they kick out 90bhp-instead of the 60bhp a normal 1.3 would kick out
