speakers and amps!

hi, if i had 2x 220W car speakers and a 200W bassbox, what power amp should i use? my head unit has output of 4 x 50W

The speakers will be able to be run well enough off the headunit (4x50w is quite powerfull).
For your 'bass box' - is it one of the ones with a built in amplifer? If so then just run it from there (Using RCA connectors if possible) if not then a small bridgeable amp with a low pass filter (To act as a crossover) should do the trick - doesn't have to cost a fortune or be overly powerful neither - although I imagine that the sub is rated at more than 200w?!

cheers, my bassbox just connects with normal speaker wires. just like a dual 10" speakers, in a carpeted box.
