starter and alternator wiring?

Hi ppl,

Got my nicely polished lump ready to go in but got a few wires that I aint got a clue where they go?! Got a thick red wire that comes off the battery that forks into two terminals and a bunch off smaller wires that I think go to the alternator. Diagrams would be very very helpful! Oh yeah its a GTE lump.

The thick red that splits goes to the sarter solenoid.
The other 2 smaller wires go to the alt!

but there is a small black wire that goes to a spade connector to the starter motor too.

yeah thats right. its a thinnish black.red wire that also goes to the starter.
