what can go wrong??

i am considering buying a nova with 1.6 gsi engine with throttle bodies in it. The throttle bodies are from courtenay and i know they dont make bodies n e more. Was wondering is there anything that can go wrong with them?? as if it did i dont know if ill b able to get the parts to fix them!! please help thanx

wow; do you mean carbs? or bolt on throttle bodies (a la di-bilas) or proper throttles like jenvey etc; with management?
does it go well; im try to do this to my engine at the mo.
for parts i dunno other than just replace em when they go wrong. some where like here; www.jenvey.co.uk

If they are boddies and they dont make them anymore it might be hard to come by a map for them if you mod your engine and if its not mapped to your engine spec it'll miss like f@ck and loss you power instead of gaining!
