Mk2 Dials in a Mk1

Do Mk2 dials fit str8 into a MK1 or are the connections different??

They'll fit straight in mate. And if you want to connect up the speedo you'll have to run a wire from the ignition coil to the back of the dials :D

No they dont!

The mark 2 clocks have a different fixing method (3 screws) while the mark 1 clocks just wedge in!

If you have both sets, you can re-house the mark 2 clocks in the mark 1 surround.

However, this is reasonably pointless.

oops :oops: i fitted some (what i was told) were gsi dials in my old 1.2 and they went straight in. Maybe i was lied to :idea:

by the sound of things i'd say they were gte clocks
