I understand these wheels have the ET49 offset, I was just wondering if i bought a set of these at 15" could i simply just fit them straight onto a mk2 nova and have no problems with rubbing etc?

Also what about the 16" would they rub?

I just dont want to mod my arches, just want a set of these wheels where I can stick them straight on with no hassel.

Cheers

16's rub like fuck, if u dont want to mod ur arches stay with 15's mate. Me and ma dad did a half job on rollin the arches and they still rubbed with any1 in the back. Mine was lowered a bit on gsi springs (bout 20mm i think). Before we rolled the arches they rubbed when i reversed it slowly up our drive so you will have to roll em if you want 16's.

I think ET45 is better for 16s...

it depends on what tyres you get though mate...you could get 16s with quite a low profile and they would be the same rolling radius as 15s with a bigger profile...

Why would you want a lower offset? It will stick the wheels out so they're bound to rub then.

nope it was still there, i had them rolled a few weeks afterwards as i wanted to go lower on the back, but drove for a few weeks with the arch standard and had no problems with rubbing

this may sound funny but dependin on the rot status of ur arches ur lips can distort and the weak metal of the whole arch panel can go inwards making it rub on the tyres.
