dismantling manta 400 mirrors

How do.

Ive just bought a set of manta 400 mirrors for my car and i know a few people on here have them so i need some advice about removing the lens housing from the ball joint without knackering them up.

Whats the best way to take them to bits? There is a screw underneath the mirror and a large nut inside the housing. Which needs to be removed and whats the best way of getting them off.

you have to undo the nut on the inside, i tried undoing that screw and it didn't do anything, you have to use a metal bar or something to wedge between the teeth in the nut and undo it.
